This book was just as much a blast as the previous two, though it got a little more serious. You start to kinda see the world beginning to roll toward a huge conflict, so the tension is stronger in this book. You learn more about the pasts of the primary protagonists, which is cool, and there is some foreshadowing of things still to come. I liked some of the little twists at the end. One thing that stood out to me at the end of this book, compared to the previous ones, is that it doesn't really feel like an "ending" when you get to the end of it, the way the others did. They always had the possibility of continuation, obviously, but there was a little more closure. The ending of this book felt more like the ending of a particular act in a play, or the end of a big chapter. Of course, instead of being frustrating, it leads you to want to jump into the next book!
