Best thing that King has written in years. Not so much of a horror story, although the IT tie in was great. Fantastic characters, riveting plot and plenty of surprises to keep things interesting. I was sorry when it ended.

Chris I enjoyed the book also (Stephen King is a great writer and one of my all time favorites) but was puzzled as to why he did such a hatchet job on Dallas Fort Worth. His DFW has no relation to the real one and it is jarring to someone from this area to read because his facts are so wrong. Everything from the distances between places, the culture of Dallas, and even just plain historical facts about this area. He admitted when I saw him speak here that he didn't have anyone from here read it until after it was in final form and being printed. He laughed about some of the "facts" that he got wrong but I bet he got an earful. Dallas is Derry? Really? DFW didn't kill JFK, nor did anything in the atmosphere in the city---Oswald was an attention seeking nutjob and could have been living anywhere.
