Eloise is a six year old girl who lives at the Plaza while her parents stay far away on business. She is extremely spoiled and she gets whatever she wants which is everything. Her nanny tries her best to keep her in line but Eloise is mostly allowed to run free. In one way, the story is very funny and Eloise entertains us all. However, the book doesn't really seem like it's for children--it's more for adults who are feeling nostalgic or who can appreciate children and their whimsies.
