READ IT!

I saw the movie first, and upon discovering it was a book first I made it my mission in life, and it was more than worth it.

It's simply done, it's beautifully done. It's enjoyable to read, and you also learn someting. Something quite incredible really.

We all know the life of black people was hard in the Southern states of America for a long time, it was hard elsewhere too. Its wonderful to feel inspired by a book. It's wonderful to know tat sometimes just doing something seemingly small can become something important.

This book has everything - family, motherhood, romance, heritage, culture, heroes and villians, comics and plain ordinary people. You feel sad one minute, you're laughing the next, and you will end this book feeling a little better about everything (even when it's not perfect).
