really liked it
Read in December, 2008

I bought this book back in 2005 right when it came out. I remember seeing it in the Norfolk airport and thinking, “What? I’ve never seen that Quick book before, but it’s in paperback. Did I miss one?” Turns out this was released directly to a paperback. With that in mind, one might think the story is less than stellar, but quite honestly, it’s one of her better books. This is probably my second or third time to read it, and it just struck me (for the first time) that this was really the book that set up her whole foray into the psychic realm that so many of her recent books have explored.

That being said, this was a delightful read. Caroline is a lot of fun, and it was amusing to watch an author write about her fictional author trying to write a story – a little tongue in cheek from Quick and quite amusing!
