I wanted to love this book, I really did. The truth is that I struggled through much of it. I just couldn't get into it and found whole chapters quite boring while others were pretty interesting. I skimmed through about 15 pages somewhere in the middle and thought of putting the book down. Perhaps it's because I don't typically read biographies? I was determined to at least make it to the part about Charlotte's web which is at the very end. That part did not disappoint and the book ended on a high note for me. In fact, at the end I thought of rating this 3 stars but had to remind myself that I kept drifting off during much of the rest of the book.
