I received an ARC through a First Reads contest.

First the negative: For my taste, there was far more swearing than necessary with the F word being dropped entirely too frequently. I was also not crazy about the sexual content, though it does end up being rather integral to the storyline making it difficult to remove. Its not exactly challenging, but doesn't really claim to be. Its one of those stories where you know early on where things are going and spend most of the book waiting for the main character to figure out.

On a positive note, I still liked the story. It had some good humor which had me laughing out loud a couple of times. I liked the character too. No, it may not have been terribly realistic, but I'm not such a book snob, that I don't appreciate a fun read. Reality can be overrated some days anyway :) The main character has good intentions, and its nice that things work out for her in the end. Its a fun, quick read, but the language would make me hesitant to share it with others. I think it would have been just as fun without it.
