really liked it
bookshelves: childrens

Molly Who Flew Away is a cute book about a mouse who visits the fair and gets more than she bargained for when she purchased a balloon for each of her friends. While this creates excitement, the crux of the story is about how Molly enjoys each of her friends and recognizes their individual strengths. It is a sweet story about really knowing and appreciating all of your friends.

Being a picture book, the illustrations play an important role in the storytelling, as well. These live up to my daughter's standards. She enjoyed finding details related to the story and other details to create her own stories.
