This is a quick read to be sure, and the Irish lilt of the writing makes the read so very enjoyable. It's grand, in fact. Four generations of women come together to carry out the final wishes of one who is dying. The twist here is that one of those women is already dead. Each tells her own story til I felt I knew each of them. And really, I do know them, as well as I know my own mother an daughter. Lovely story. Lovely writing.
