As a play i can not give it more than 3 points, however as a story i must confess that it's really a moving one. Compared to the origin novel by Mary Shelly, this one focused on the perspective from the Creature, which showed vivid the misery of him. It can be said to be a happy end to me, yes, although cruel, but compare to the end of the novel, this one rendered me not so sad and melanchony: they are one.

p.s. I think this play is really a big challenge for the actor of Frankenstein, for its thinly depicting of the Doctor, so I really really eager to see how it would be on the stage, unfortunately I miss a chance of watching the perfomance by Benedict Cumberbatch in the National Theatre last year and regret so much, and I can't wait to see the NT Live this summer! For both his Doctor and his Creature.
