An enjoyable lightweight romance. The main character Cassie is cheated on by her husband and is whisked away from the Scottish Highlands by her friends to try out new lives around the world. She spends the first third of the year in New York, then moves to Paris and ends her year in London. The plot is a little thin and the characters are somewhat 2D, but overall it's a fantastic premise - who wouldn't want to have the chance to try out different lives in glamourous locations around the world - and an enjoyable read.
