This book contains compilation of variety of Christie's novel. Not all of them are detective stories. Even there is a supernatural story and also a love story. All of them are still full of mystery. Some of them are also Christie's beginning works so they are very shallow (yes because they are short stories). But from these beginnings, a masterpiece is developed. Also there is always a description at back of each story, which tell us the history of writing and how this writing affect the style of Christie's book later. An interesting compilation to read.
