John J. Le Beau, the author of this book, is a former CIA agent who is able to bring an informed perspective to his tale of crime and terrorism. The story starts with murder and leads to an international conspiracy. Intelligence services and law enforcement agencies of several nations work together, each focused on a different element of the case.

I found this work to be well paced and interesting, but I do have one criticism. Le Beau has a tendency to over describe and use obscure vocabulary. I gave this book four stars, but would have given it three and one half if Good Reads had half stars
