Martin has hit another home run. Each book in her Against series has a small silver thread that joins them but each is unique and can stand alone.
Amy the kindergarten teacher who pole dances like a dream and Johnny the muscular, tatooed tough guy with a big bike, seem to be polar opposites but fit so well together.
Amy's sister, an actress wanna be, has disappeared and no one seems able to care too much about a missing strip club dancer. Amy will not back down or cower until her sister is found. Not even tough guy Johnny can deviate her from her path.
Social class imprinting keeps these two from HEA until two wise older women talk some sense into them. Loved the whole book.
