I loved this book, I think many people were frustrated with how little the reader is given. Personally I just loved being thrown into this story, I never thought anything of the replaced swear words, I actually loved them to be honest. I've read all 3 books so rereading this book opened my eyes to so many things that James put in hinting at the future books. I can understand why people may not just find the first one entertaining. Heck you don't find out the real problem of the story till the 2nd book! I urge everyone to read the two other books, the way the story is woven together is simply perfect. Some people aren't able to just throw themselves into in a story and accept it as it is, but please give this book a chance. It may just be me but I love the way the characters develop, the way things happen. It all means something, but you don't know what unless you read the other books. It's simply amazing the way it all comes together. You'll regret not giving it a true shot.
