I can see why reviewers said Katie Fforde writes stories about everyday life. That's exactly what this book was ~ totally real, totally believable but in parts possibly a little too sugary for me. I loved the character of Fiona and was glad all seemed to work out well for her and I enjoyed Rory, though once again he was too nice. As a little boy I wanted him to get up to a bit of mischief.
All in all, I enjoyed the story and would go back for more of Katie Fforde. She has a way of turning a slice of ordinary life into something very readable.
