Despite my intentions I have started another series. I couldn't help myself. I really like the stories that Madeline Hunter tells. She sometimes gets a little too detailed with the lust/love scenes, but I can skip over them to get to the real story of the hero and heroine. On top of the usual boy meets girl/boy gets girl story (or vice verse) there is usually a mystery to be solved. I love to read mysteries as much as I love reading Regency Period novels. Ms. Hunter did not disappoint with the first book of the Fairbourne Quartet. The second book will not be out until October of this year. She will be telling the story of Emma's friend, Cassandra. It should be just as intriguing.
