The latest installment of the Isaac Bell series by Cussler brings back the Germans as the main adversary. This installment opens with Bell stopping several men from being abducted by German agents aboard a liner bound for NYC. Bell seeks to protect these two men who have perfected the way to create “talkie” movies. Bell manages to find them investors and protects them from German agents who are seeking to bring the invention home to the Kaiser. I like the first 2 Bell novels but in the last 3 the quality has started to slip.
