Read from March 10 to April 15, 2012

Great first-hand account of WWII flight rigors. The reader is really able to gain insight as to what it was like in the early 40's from an aviator's point of view. I felt the home-sicknes, and all the emotions that soldiers must have been going through. This book kind of underscores the fact that letter-writing to this extent is nearly obsolete.
