This book got a four star review because it kept me wanting to pick it up and continue reading at every opportunity -- but not so fantastic that I want to reread it eventually (that would have been five stars). Bobby is a police sniper who kills a man during a domestic dispute, saving the lives of the wife and son. It looks initially like a good shooting, but the victim is the son of a powerful judge -- and that judge wants to Bobby to lie about what he saw to put the wife in jail. If Bobby doesn't lie, the judge is going to push for murder charges. Standing alone, the only person Bobby finds himself turning to is the wife of the man he shot. They both have a common enemy, and it's a man who would do anything to protect a secret.
