liked it

I had no idea that this was a book about zombies until I started reading it. The beginning was admittedly a little boring, but I was highly interested in what caused the world the characters were living in, and what would happen from there. As I read further into the book, I began to like it much more. Suddenly the main character was less 'typical vague leading character' and suddenly began to move into color. The love triangle that followed between the leading character and the pair of brothers was a little annoying, but tolerable.

The backstory on the world was a little frustrating--my question throughout the book was "What?". "What caused the zombie outbreak?" "What secrets were the sisterhood holding?" What, what, what, what. And most questions were left unanswered.

The writing style was good, the dialogue was fine, and the plot was pretty damned good. I'm going to have to continue this series.
