Read from March 09 to 12, 2012

Olivia lost her husband and soon afterwards was diagnosed with cancer. She is now at the end of her medical disability leave and is wondering whether she is ready to go back. Her best friend and next door neighbor, Hallie convinces her to go to stay at her mom's house in Florida while her mom is visiting her. Reluctantly, Olivia agrees.

Her vacation starts off on an interesting foot when she views a handsome man getting ready to board the flight that she is on. Things are looking up! Olivia's two weeks turn out to be an opportunity to make new friends, and heal. She starts to read the children's books that Hallie's mom has written and learns some lessons about herself.

When the time to return home approaches, Olivia finds that she has a foot in each place and is reluctant to leave one for the other. She still doesn't want to return to her job in the OR in Cincinnati but she also doesn't know if she could ever make a new life for herself in Florida.

This is an engaging, sweet novel and a worthwhile read. I would definately read other books by this author.
