Collins delivers a satisfying ending to her engagingly matter-of-fact dystopic trilogy that's full of the twists and turns that made the first two books work, never giving into the temptation to shift perspective beyond Katniss' experiences, but deftly painting in enough of the larger background to make the "no win" stakes maddeningly high. It all ends as it must, full of melancholy and regret, but with a tinge of hope for the future. I've never devoured a trilogy as fast, nor as completely, as I did this one. Highly recommended!
