Glass Heart is a wonderful world of exciting danger and darkness, that will have reader's hearts pumping overtime. Intelligantly written and engaging, this book is light on the paranormal aspect. Amy Garvey's writing is enlightening and beautiful in ways that evokes beautiful emotion from the stunning imagery captured within the pages. While not as engrossing as Cold Kiss , it still delivers a fantastic story sure to entertain fans of the paranormal romance genre. It is still a pretty good sequel to an amazing first book.

There is magnificent drama and heart pounding romance involved, that reader's will fall in love with. Wren's personal growth in the story, wasn't exactly what I was personally hoping it would be. At times, it seemed as if she were a bit immature and selfish, most especially when it came to her relationship with Gabriel. I could better understand him clearly, than her. The thing that balances this book out for me, personally, are the awesome twists in plot details and other character additions. It makes the novel a little more fun and entertaining to read.

Overall, there was some pretty good drama, the relationship between Wren and Gabriel seemed to grow when she wasn't constantly doing the oppossite of what he suggested, and there were some pretty intriguing new characters and delima's that were added in for the extra bonus of sweetining the story just a bit more. There were a few surprises that were introduced and Amy Garvey did a pretty good job of continuing a story, that I thought had been already well wrapped-up. It was a good book, but I don't think that it will make my list of favorites this year. At least, not in the way that Cold Kiss did last year, because this one was a bit more predictable and in some ways fell a bit flat in some area's. What doesn't necessarily work for me personally in Glass Heart , Garvey definitely makes up for in her beautiful prose and stunning imagery and thought provoking emotion.

I would recommend this to fans who enjoy paranormal romances that are subtle on the paranormal aspect and those who have already read Cold Kiss and enjoyed it. Even if this book didn't wow me as much as I hoped it would, I still very much enjoyed reading it and may even look at re-reading it down the line sometime in the future.
