This was a quick fun read, and I learned a lot about the world of advertising in the Mad Men era. Maas is an engaging writer, and much of the prose here is simple and snappy as a tagline.

It's also a great feminist read to get an inside look at the era when powerful women were first emerging in the corporate world.

It almost seems like the Mad Men frame is more for the sake of selling an otherwise loosely framed story, but it's still a great read.
