I really like Gail Simmons on Top Chef and Top Chef: Desserts. Reading this book was like having a conversation with her. A really easy read. Loved the peek into her personal life, as well as her professional life and the road she took to become, "A Professional Eater." Book includes a few of her favorite recipes in the back. She is a well-read, well-traveled and well-educated woman with a really interesting background/childhood. Excellent read.
