really liked it
bookshelves: general-fiction, speculative
Read from January 04 to 08, 2013

A perceptive and detailed dissection of power structures and the different roles that society forces women in to. The reviews complaining that the novel is "implausible" are missing the point. Atwood's prose is occasionally overwrought, but she is undeniably a master of structure and pacing.
