Okay, this book was gorgeous and stylish and I kind of loved it, but for god's sake CAN NO ONE WRITE A MOTHERFUCKING STAND-ALONE NOVEL ANYMORE?

As Oscar Wilde so aptly put it: “Anybody can write a three-volume novel. It merely requires a complete ignorance of both life and literature.”

Which, okay, I don't quite know what he means by that but I'm pretty sure I agree.

Caroline Thank you. I generally love series/trilogies if a particular story seems to call for it, but enough is enough. It's gotten trendy. >:[
