Tex is an amazing story... just another one of S.E. Hinton's classics. It's a story of the love between two brothers, and the strife they go through without their parents. Their mother died and their father is barely home, seeing as he's a rodeo star.
For the most part, they do really well, but when times get tight, the troubles roll in and their last buck can't buy a lucky break.
This is an incredible tale of love, compassion, hard times, and working together to work things out. It's so real, it touches your heart as all of S.E. Hinton's books do.
Her writing style is different in each and every book, even if they have the same themes and morals.
I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a touching story that hits home. It deals with reality, growing up, and the precious last glimpses of adolescence before it vanishes and you find yourself with a list of responsibilities that will never go away.
