George has returned to his family after the war and is now trying to get his family together.George admires Rose for her courage to live in a town where the people treat her badly and how she faces them day in and day out.

He doesn't expect to hire Rose when she answers his ad. Afterall, her father was on the opposing side during the War.But he does hire her. The impact Rose has on his family is obvious, and funny at times, not the laugh out loud kind.descriptionRose was a nice Heroine and a woman who knows her mind, there were some moments when she questioned her decisions but it made her more real.descriptionEventhough George makes it clear he doesn't want to marry her, he is unable to help himself.description

The only reason i am giving it 3+1/2 stars is that there was something off.descriptiondescriptionThere were some scene which fell flat and kind of lacking something description

The book was okay, its just that, description things seemed to drag on and on after sometime and i felt too much importance was given to the secondary characters and how they react or how the leads react to the secondary character.

For people who like Jodi And Lorraines' books, this might ..i repeat "might" appeal to you. description
