This is a tedious read. And the style of writing to illustrate of how the slaves speak need some time to get used to.

However, due to the book's historical significance, I forced myself to finish the book. I'm glad that I did. The book raised a few questions that I need to search for their answers. One that sticks in my mind is that which is a greater sin; a person committing a crime or laws that allow it to suit the convenience of a few or a society who did nothing on its wrongness?

This is a great book. It needs to be experienced and discussed by yourself.
