Read from April 17 to 18, 2012 — I own a copy

A whirlwind of backstage action and the pressure and excitement to perform on stage caught me right away. The charaters were very well developed and I loved Pepper--so strong willed and outspoken. I felt transported into her world of vaudeville 1907 and felt as though I went through this journey with her. Including actual people from that time and place was really great. The writing was top notch and I truely enjoyed reading this book. I received this book for free through a Goodreads First Reads give away.
