Consoling Angel is a super short story, I think I had it read in about ten minutes. It was a beautifully written piece, that was truly charming and left me with a smile on my face.

Mira lost her father to cancer not too long ago, they both loved an actor called James Dean and they would always watch his films together. When her dad passed away Mira couldn't stop thinking about James Dean. Feeling tired and down in the dumps she falls asleep in her bedroom. When she wakes up everything is magically changed and she is transported into the past. By chance (or maybe not) she meets, a young, not yet famous James Dean.

Wonderful things happen to Mira after her transportation back to her own time and it leaves off with Consoling Angel having a great ending.

This was a very interesting short story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I only wished it was a little longer. I also loved the title and how it makes an appearance in the book.

4/5 Stars
