This was one interesting book. It was one of the best, weirdest books I have read in a long time. I don't know what is considered SPOILERS ...... so
The way the author told the story from both points of view was one of the coolest aspects of the book. I loved getting into the minds of each character individually and seeing the relationship from their own point of view. I think that this would make a good book group discussion book because there is a lot about marriage, relationships, etc. that would make for interesting discussion. It is one of those books when you finish it, you almost want to read it again, to get the fuller picture of what is happening.
I enjoyed the second part of the book more than the first. The first seemed like she was trying to hard in some places -- too many unnecessary adjectives and descriptions. The second half was more straight story telling. But that is one of the reasons you feel like you need to read it again, because i am sure there are clues, and allusions that you miss the first go round.
all in all, I thought it was a great book. I am so thankful to have won an advance copy. There were very few errors that I saw, and I am anxious to find someone to lend it to so we can discuss it. I really wish I was in a book club, because I would love to discuss books with others.
The only bad thing about this book was that I couldn't speed read it, because you had to make sure you didn't miss bits of the story. But I was so intrigued with what was going on, that I wanted to keep reading until I finished it. I enjoyed it very much and thought it was an extremely well written, original idea of a book and I would highly recommend it to others.
