I really enjoyed this book! I found the history of British Rock and Roll to be entertaining and engrossing. Keith details his boy hood as well as how he met Mick Jagger...the hard scrabble days of the burgeoning music scene in the city. He discusses his guitars and his guitar tuning strategies at length. I found that I was listening to ALL of my Rolling Stones records as I read this book. Everytime he would mention a song or particular tuning, or riff, I'd listen to it. A good way to read the book for sure! Unexpected for me, but Keith Richards is a very literate and well read man. The references he makes to novels I have read, made me like him instantly. The book also details his years as an addict, so it's not for the faint of heart. But if you like music, and think that 'Exile on Main Street' is a top notch album...then READ this book!
