OK 5 stars is a bit much but this is the best A. Lee Martinez book I've read so far.
I'm giving it 4.5 stars.
Think of the alien from Monsters vs Aliens.
A slightly more competent (and well more grown up) version of him is the main character.
Martinez makes the evil genius alien into his main character and he balances him with a Star Trek security chief type companion.
This was a very good laugh during a stressful week.
