really liked it
bookshelves: non-fiction

What a fantastic memoir. It's not really about anything in particular other than the bar that became this author's second home, or maybe even first home since his real home was so squalid and dysfunctional, yet he describes the barflies who become his family and the struggles throughout his life with such color and sensibility.
