Is it too soon to call this historical fiction? Solidly placed in the society of the mid-1970s. In 12 weeks, I only got through 45 pages -- and I was the target audience: of the age, was a teen whose horse got her through adolescence (and college, and early marriage, and young parenthood -- hmmm) and I like medical "drama." I had such hopes. Oh, well.
