Fans of Molly Harper’s Jane Jameson books and MaryJanice Davidson’s The Undead Series will thoroughly enjoy Ash Krafton’s story- A paranormal/urban fantasy/chick-lit tale which will grab you by the tail of your shirt and take you for a ride. Her main characters Sophie and Marek jump off the page and secondary characters are vivid and engaging. The author somehow even managed to create some sexual tension between Sophie and her ex-boyfriend turned priest, Jared without it feeling “icky.” With her excellent mythology and world building, the author has a hit on her hands! Lucky for us, there’s a sequel in the works.
