The Adventures of Captain Underpants is a series of books about two mischievous young men by the names of George and Harold. They are always pulling pranks on the faculty and peers in their school. Until one day the principle catches one of their pranks on video and has them preform all these chores for him. They decide to try their new hypnosis ring on him and they accidently turn him into Captain Underpants. He is a super hero that runs around fighting crime in his underwear. This book is a light read that will keep the students reading until finished. This book has no clear message, but is still a book that could be recommended within the classroom for its humor and fun pictures. It also lets children know that it is ok to use their imagination and that it can be limitless. I would recommend this book for every classroom because the children can relate to the silly humor that George and Harold got into. I
