Although told in mostly pictures and notes, I found this story to be haunting. I was surprised by how engrossed I became with this book, since I am typically a "word" person. I took my time with it- listened to every song, watched every video and inspected every photo. I spaced it out to three days to give me some mull over time while I tried to piece the story together. I had an inkling from some of the back cover information and praise as to what the mystery was, so I really was trying to maybe take my mind off of that path. But in the end, my original hunch felt pretty much on target. If it hadn't been for so much of a give away on the back cover, I would have given it 5 stars. Still, it's definitely worth a read. I wish they would create more novels in this format. So much better than typical graphic novels.
