This was the first Stephanie Black book I’ve read, but it won’t be my last. It was really good: well-written with realistic, well-developed characters, and an interesting, intense plot. I liked that the final reveal was a surprise, but not a shock. There were so many suspicious characters that I was never sure who the real “bad guy” was, but there were enough clues that it made sense when the final pieces of the puzzle were put into place. James and Fiona were great. I liked all their witty remarks about literature. If they were real people I’d want to have lunch with them.

Recommended for readers that like mystery/suspense.
