wow. i had the pleasure of meeting kambri at an indie bookshop near my home so when i read this i could hear her voice. simply put, an amazing woman an even more amazing read. how anyone growing-up
with the life experiences she had can be so up-beat and genuinely NICE is beyond me. this isn't to say that every aspect of her life was horrible, her family did love each other in their own particular way, it's just that she had to be made of some pretty stern stuff to be so resilient. the book was by turns funny and horrifying but always kambri's spirit came through. she's a dynamic speaker, very lively and always smiling! if you have a chance to go to a reading/signing defnitely go, you'll adore her. she's a very talented woman, i hope she does well in all of her endeavors.
