A fun, entertaining paranormal romance based in a world where there are 3 races living on the planet - the humans (who we don't hear from at all), the changelings (who are shapeshifters; panthers, wolves etc) and the Psy whose minds are linked from birth into a network hive mind and who are also 'silenced' from birth so that they no longer feel any emotion whatsoever. Except Sascha, who thinks she is broken because she can feel and is worried that the authorities will find out. The rest of the story is pretty formulaic - Sascha is a Psy, Lucas is an Alpha of the local Changeling pack who needs help as some of the Changeling females are being kidnapped and killed...you can imagine the rest!

The ending really reminded me of a part in Patricia Briggs Silver Borne where Mercy is exploring the pack bonds, but i think that this was written first!

This was a fun way to find excuses to take breaks from painting my bathroom.
