I read this during the bus ride home from the library. It's a little over 200 pages and a very quick read (about 25 min). The writing is fairly minimalistic, which I liked. The subject matter is...well, to be honest, that's the part I can't make up my mind about. On one hand, it is a very interesting look about how rumors and situations get out of control. On the other, rape apologists LOVE to go on about how the survivor is just crying wolf. So while I want to applaud the author for writing a twist, I wonder if we need a book like this. I should probably mention that I'm reading the sequel to The Mockingbird by Daisy Whitney, so...the subjects are pretty much polar opposites. In any case, I did like this book, and I liked the writing a lot. It's just the subject matter that makes me think, and that is not the fault of the author necessarily, she handled it well.
