Being an Agent, someone who aids the newly dead to the pearly gates just got busier for Maddy since the demons hit town. Finding out that your new hot tenet maybe more than he seems, downright dangerous. A pack of soul thirsty demons crashing into on street corners, just made your job/life all that more harder.
All Maddy wanted to to in life was relax a bit, find a man, hunt a killer, and get her job done. While life did not come easily for Maddy, her future is looking a whole lot brighter and deeper than she ever knew before. With an angelic past, and a demon hunted future all Madeline Black knew about in the world is about to change.
Christina Henry has created a whole new series about the afterlife and the occupations of angels, fallen, and everything in between. With a rich new set of myths to drive the story and a heroine coming into her powers the Madeline Black series will catch readers with the characters great snark and their drive to conquer their enemies and work their way into each other's hearts.
Madeline Black is discovering more about herself every day, but first she has to make it through the night.
