Rick Yancey continues to write beautifully morbid fiction. In the second enstallment of his Monstrumologist series I was happy to learn more about the Dr. and to learn more about the Society. His vocabulary is unlike any other YA that I've read so far and straddles the line between YA and adult fiction. I am eager to start his third book in the series. I know I'll love it. The only reason this book didn't get 5 stars was because it described mutilation of a baby, and that is just something I don't want to picture, especially with my Khloe being the face I imagined in the fictional baby's place!
