So this book is about a family who is dealing with the dad being a lazy abusive father, a mother who loves her family, Lucus who went to the Vietnam war and drastically changes, Chris who is trapped in the image of being the mean guy, and Doug who could turn out like a chump like his brothers or not. His family moves to Marisville, and their Doug learns the harsh lessons of trying to fit in.
I thought this was a harder book to get through. It didn't have any censorship problems for me. But it had art terms and related a lot to art which i don't really understand. I think my favorite character was Chris, and how he changed from being a bully of a brother, to being a more understanding brother and stepping up to his role when Lucus comes home from the war.
