This is a beautiful and touching story of a young boy whose mother leaves him in a campground in Acadia National Park. He thinks she will come back and she doesn't. So, he does what he can to keep moving so no one realizes he is on his own. He tries to visit places they might have gone together to see if he can find her there. He knows his mother is sick, but he just doesn't know why she would leave him.
