This is a story of the earth's slowing of its rotation, and one young girl's reaction to it. This book has been somewhat heavily promoted, but I didn't see why.
1) Susan Beth Pfeffer wrote a better book about the end of civilization called LIFE AS WE KNEW IT, which frightened me much more than this book.
2) As this book is narrated by an 11-year-old girl, I don't see why it wasn't published as a young adult novel--there's nothing in this book that would make it more adult.
A bit boring, actually.
